WHO ARE WE?
Eddie’s loyal friends and family, good hearted people who support a man who should not be in prison. We care very much about his future. He has already spent too many years in prison, but in the process he has become his own man. He has plans and dreams for a life on the outside where he can stay on the outside. He has people who can support him till he gets established, and work that he can do when he gets out.
We are also just regular, hard working people with normal jobs…who care that such rampant injustice takes place every day in federal prison. And we realize many people don’t know about this type of situation who have never met or known someone who has been in prison.
You may wonder why we’re enthusiastic. After all, isn’t he a convict? Yes and no. We realize where he is, and that makes him a ‘convict.’ So were many notable people throughout history. How Eddie is different is that the character of this highly intelligent, caring individual shines through any labels that society might see fit to affix. When you get to know him, you realize that labels are meaningless.
This is why we ask that you support his appeal. In doing so you’re supporting the whole notion of Justice. Whatever you can contribute will be appreciated. And we would also be very grateful if you would send a letter to President Obama too.
In fact, Eddie’s supporters can be found in many states and countries. We’re hoping that you’ll soon join our ranks.
